If you want to shop on the way, take the A21 from the M25. Turn left at A268, towards Hawkhurst, which will let you shop at Waitrose or Tesco in Hawkhurst, or Jempsons in Peasmarsh (closed on a Sunday).
Alternatively, proceed further down the A21, then left at Merriments Lane, then down the Roman Road, B2244, approaching Rye via the B2089, which will allow you to shop at Jempsons in Rye (except when it is closed on a Sunday).
If travelling from the M20, there is a good Sainsbury’s in New Romney, a 10 min detour from the direct route, after which you can proceed to Camber via Lydd.
Once you reach Lydd Road in Camber, you’ll find Sea Echoes at the eastern end, directly opposite Pelwood Road.
